Rector of Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University Oleksandr Cherevko took part in an extended meeting of the Council of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Kyiv and heads of regional university centers.

The discussion of topical issues of higher education development was also joined by The Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Serhiy Shkarlet, the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Education, Science and Innovation Serhiі Babak, the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine Heorhiі Trukhanov and the Head of the The National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (NAQA) Serhiі Kvit. Actual opportunities for cooperation between higher education institutions were considered during the meeting. In particular, Oleksandr Cherevko held talks with the rector of the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine Andriі Chernyak on the exchange of experience in the field of moral and psychological support of students.

In the future, such an exchange of experience will be useful for both institutions of higher education.
