Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University continues to improve its position in domestic and .

Thus, according to the results of the academic ranking of higher educational institutions of Ukraine "Top-200 Ukraine", the university ranking has risen by 40 positions and now it occupies the 61 place (in 2019 it was 101).

This result shows that the university team has done a tremendous job and reached a new level.

Today, CHNU is developing in accordance with current trends, summarized by the IREG International Conference, and the Berlin Principles, approved by the participants of the second IREG meeting. These indicators were taken into account when compiling this year's ranking.

— A significant increase of the position of the university in the academic ranking is not a coincidence, but the result of a hard work of the entire scientific and pedagogical team of the University. We are improving: we are developing science, opening new specialties, striving for the highest quality of education, renovating the premises, updating the material and technical base. And this is what allows Cherkasy National University to improve systematically its position. We have something to strive for, and the whole team is working on it. We will remind that over the last years ChNU gradually, but confidently reached new steps in ranking "Top-200 Ukraine":

   • 2015 – 126 th place;

   • 2016 – 118 th place;

   • 2017-2018 – 109 th place;

   • 2019 – 101 st place;

   • 2020 – 61 st place.
