Students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy Anna Kalantaieva (major “Applied Mathematics”) and Svitlana Bodnenko (major “Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies”) are studying under the Erasmus КА171 academic mobility program in Latvia.

During the semester, the fourth-year students of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Informational and Educational Technologies will study the course “Information and Communication Technologies” at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Valmiera. Due to the participation in the exchange program, they will gain new knowledge, experience, and acquaintances, improve their understanding of the world through communication with different cultures. Studying and staying at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences is fully covered by a monthly scholarship at the expense of the project.

The students have already settled into the dormitory, met other students and lecturers, and shared their first impressions.

“I am excited about the opportunity to pursue my education in a foreign language. Mobility in Latvia opens up a new culture for me, gives a chance to improve my academic level, learn the Latvian language and expand my worldview. I advise every student to try studying under the mobility program. I am grateful to Cherkasy National University for such a great opportunity to participate in the Erasmus КА171 program,” Anna Kalantaieva said.
