Lecturers of the Department of Preschool and Special Education of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy became members of the public organization “Ukrainian Association of Special Pedagogues”.

An important step in the professional growth of the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Pedagogical Education, Social Work and Art is the involvement of lecturers in the activities of public organizations, public unions, and other social initiatives. This contributes to the improvement of the quality of education and the introduction of innovative approaches, in particular, in preschool and special education.

The lecturers of the department received membership cards confirming their official membership in the PO “Ukrainian Association of Special Pedagogues”.  Membership in the association provides an opportunity to participate in professional seminars, conferences, and trainings, to exchange experience with colleagues from other educational institutions, as well as to join joint scientific research. This will make it possible to implement the leading practice-oriented ideas aimed at the development of the field of special education in Ukraine and to add their achievements to the formation of modern standards and methods.

The activities of the scientific-pedagogical staff of the Department of Preschool and Special Education of BKNUC within the scope of the Association’s work will contribute to raising the level of training of future specialists and ensuring high-quality support for children with special educational needs.
