The Department of Primary and Special Education at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy is actively implementing the program of internal academic mobility for students pursuing a master’s degree (second level of higher education).
Within the framework of the partnership with Dragomanov Ukrainian State University, master’s students from both institutions have the opportunity to take elective courses taught by partner university lecturers.
This year, master’s students majoring in “Primary Education” joined the program. Students Alina Fedorenko, Bohdana Sharapa, Anastasiia Zdir, Yana Udovyk, and Daryna Polishchuk chose to study the elective course “Digital Resources in the Professional Activity of a Primary School Teacher” at Dragomanov Ukrainian State University.
In turn, our university warmly welcomed master’s students Sofiia Boiko, Viktoriia Vasylevych, Maryna Zaporozhets, Mariia Kravchuk, and Veronika Polishchuk to take the elective course “Technologies of Distance and Blended Learning in Primary School”.
The first lectures within the internal academic mobility program began on September 9, 2025. The participants were greeted by Professor Tetiana Zorochkina, Head of the Department of Primary and Special Education, and Professor Olena Matviienko, Head of the Department of Primary Education and Innovative Pedagogy at Dragomanov Ukrainian State University. They highlighted the importance of the program for the professional development of modern teachers and for the integration into the national educational space.
Such cooperation opens up new paths for professional self-development for future specialists in the field of primary and special education, promotes the exchange of experience, and fosters the formation of modern competencies essential for work in schools and in inclusive environments.
We wish all participants inspiration, new academic and practical achievements, and the development of competencies that will become the key to success in pedagogical activity.
“We express our gratitude to the administration of Dragomanov Ukrainian State University, Dean of the Faculty of Education Taras Olefirenko, Head of the Department of Primary Education and Innovative Pedagogy Olena Matviienko, and Associate Professor Oksana Kokhanko for their organizational and methodological support of the program, for fruitful cooperation, and for creating conditions for the professional growth of future teachers,” noted Tetiana Zorochkina, Head of the Department of Primary and Special Education.
