A complete edition of the monument of the medieval Ukrainian writing the Reims Gospel in the form of a facsimile edition was presented to the students and teachers of Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University.
Scientists believe that the manuscript was created in the school of scribes at the library of Yaroslav the Wise in Kyiv in the XI century.
The book was brought to Cherkasy by representatives of the publishing house "Horobets", which had published it together with the National Reserve "Sofia Kyivska" due to the support of the Ukrainian Cultural Fund. The meeting was initiated by Olesya Telizhenko, the president of a public organization "Business Ukrainian Women" in Cherkasy region.
