On January, 24, 2020, Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University held the 19-th Master's commencement ceremony.

The Department of German Philology of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Foreign Languages ​​of Bogdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy organized experimental courses of the Germal language for high school students of Cherkasy and Cherkasy region.

Students and staff of the Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University have joined the All-Ukrainian Christmas Flashmob. The participants of the vocal ensemble "Melodia", the members of the Students’ Council and the staff of the Cherkasy National University performed the Christmas carol "Nova Radist Stala”.

The delegation of the Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University, headed by Rector Oleksandr Cherevko took part in commemoration event, devoted to the 85th anniversary of Vasyl Symonenko.

On the New Year's Eve, December 28, Anatoliy Bondarenko, Mayor of Cherkasy and Oleksandr Cherevko, Rector of the Bogdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University opened two new training rooms for media students — a smart classroom and a multimedia laboratory. The latter is equipped within the framework of a grant project "Erasmus +" named "DESTIN", realized by the Department of Journalism, Advertising and PR-technologies and aimed at improving journalism education in Ukraine.

Students of the preparatory department of the Institute of International Education of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy are studying many different disciplines. Studying the course of Biology involves, in addition to obtaining theoretical knowledge, obtaining certain practical skills. Recent lesson in the module of Zoology took place in Cherkasy City Zoo.

The third artistic festival "Student Spring" gathered the most creative vocalists, instrumentalists and masters of choreographic art of Bogdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy.
