At the end of the academic year, a meeting was held with the participation of representatives of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, the pharmaceutical company Yuria-Pharm LLC, and Cormack Consultancy Group (United Kingdom).
The topic of discussion was the expansion of cooperation between the university and the company in the field of training future specialists.
Representatives of the company Yuria-Pharm, who are responsible for personnel management, Nataliia Bovtruk, Oksana Kopaieva, and Olena Pykhtina highly praised the partnership with BKNUC, particularly in the area of dual education for the “Biology” and “Chemistry” specialties. They emphasized the solid theoretical preparation of university students and their motivation for professional growth.
During the meeting, the parties discussed possibilities for further improving the educational programs to meet the current needs of the pharmaceutical industry. The company expressed interest in attracting young specialists in the natural sciences who possess up-to-date knowledge and are ready to quickly adapt to the production environment.
Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy was represented at the meeting by Oleksandr Spriahailo, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Innovation and International Activities; Maksym Havryliuk, Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Natural and Agrarian Sciences; Yuliia Shaforost, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Nanomaterials Science; and Vadym Sokolenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Cell Biology and Methods of Teaching Biological Disciplines.
Representatives of Cormack Consultancy Group, Anzhela Stashchak and Inna Chernysh, confirmed their readiness to support the initiatives of the university and the company aimed at improving the quality of specialist training and fostering educational and professional cooperation.
