Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy actively works in the field of nurturing the mental health of participants in the educational process.

Students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy Yuliia Ananieva and Bohdan Rusalivskyy, as well as the head of the BKNUC Student Council Karina Vovchenko, attended the Ukrainian Youth Forum 2024 “Free to Dream”.

Lecturers of the Department of Preschool and Special Education of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy became members of the public organization “Ukrainian Association of Special Pedagogues”.

In July, Associate Professor Veronika Hanechko and Lecturer Nataliia Diachenko, who work at the Department of German Philology at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, took part in a professional development seminar for German language lecturers organized by the Goethe-Institute in Bremen (Germany).

Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy signed an agreement on an experimental project on the introduction of state grants for education for students entering a Bachelor’s degree programme.

From July 19 to 21, 2024, the 6^th Congress of the Ukrainian Student League (USL) took place in Vinnytsia — a significant event that brought together representatives of student self-government bodies of higher education institutions and youth public organizations from all over Ukraine.

From February 12 to July 15, 2024, PhD student of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy Ilona Derevinska (supervisor – Professor Mykola Rudenko, Educational-Scientific Institute of Economics and Law) completed an internship at the University of Valladolid (Spain) under the Erasmus+ KA171 academic mobility programme.

The special anatomical simulator has been handed over to Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy by representatives of the Rotary Club, D1870, “Steinfurt”, Germany, through the mediation of the Rotary Club of Cherkasy.
