On March 13, 2025, Professor Halyna Lutsenko, Associate Professor Oksana Podolian, and Doctor of Philosophy Dariia Tinkova from the Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy participated in the XII International Workshop “Open Education & Science Practices 2025”, which was held in a hybrid format at the Politehnica University Timisoara (Romania).

Their participation was made possible through Cherkasy National University’s involvement in the European University Alliance E³UDRES². The event became an important platform for discussing innovations in open education and open science, bringing together experts, lecturers, and scientists from various countries.

The workshop programme covered key topics, including the integration of open educational resources into training courses, the role of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in shaping modern education, as well as the challenges educators face in an era of rapid technological change. Special attention was paid to the topic of adapting teaching methodologies to the conditions of using tools based on artificial intelligence, which can both enhance learning opportunities and pose ethical and practical challenges.

Participation in such events is a significant step towards integrating lecturers of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy into the European educational and scientific space. It promotes professional growth, experience exchange, and the search for partners for future international projects. Moreover, it opens up new prospects for implementing cutting-edge practices in teaching and research, enriching the educational process at our university.
