The Second General Assembly of the E³UDRES² European University Alliance was held at Fulda University of Applied Sciences, Germany, the associate partner of which is Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy.
Subject matter interest in Ukrainian studies at EU universities is constantly growing. In particular, this semester, undergraduate students at Bielefeld University (Germany) have the opportunity to attend an author's course of lectures on the development of the Ukrainian diaspora. The lecturer from Ukraine will be Taras Romashchenko, deputy head of the Institute of Economics and Law and associate professor of the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy.
Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Primary Education of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy Inna Lytvyn participated in an international academic mobility program.
The full-scale invasion into Ukraine by a neighbouring state has accelerated the spread of the Ukrainian agenda in the EU academic circles. Increasingly, Ukrainian scholars are participating in joint research projects or teaching at leading EU universities.
The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovation Activities of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, Oleksandr Spriahailo, visited the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Economics in Riga, a leading research institution in Latvia, which focuses on the development of sustainable agricultural production and selection of agricultural crops.
The delegation from Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, led by Rector Oleksandr Cherevko, participated in the international conference entitled “Engagement with the Past. Activism in the Present” based at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (the Republic of Poland).
To continue the cooperation started in 2023 by Oleksandr Cherevko, Rector of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, and Andrzej Sokala, Rector of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, Poland, a delegation from BKNUC took part in the “Student and Staff Well-being Days”, organized by Polish colleagues.
