Mariia Shendryk, a third-year Computer Science student at the Faculty of Computing, Intellectual and Management Systems, shares her impressions of studying under the Erasmus+ programme in St. Pölten, Austria. Reflecting on her experience, Mariia Shendryk says: “Studying in Austria through the Erasmus+ programme became another unforgettable chapter of my student life. During this time, I not only gained new knowledge but also had many memorable experiences that will stay with me for years to come.

“What I enjoyed most was the international environment. I met students from various countries, and it was fascinating to learn about their cultures, traditions, and ways of life. Connecting with people from all over the world is what made this mobility experience truly special.

“I was also particularly impressed by the university in St. Pölten. It is modern, well-equipped, and provides students with everything they need for successful learning. It was fascinating to experience a different approach to teaching and to see how higher education is organised in Austria.

“Beyond my studies, I travelled extensively, discovered new cities, explored Austrian culture, and simply enjoyed the country’s unique atmosphere. These are the moments that make Erasmus much more than just a semester abroad.

“This mobility helped me become more confident, improve my English language skills, and gain valuable international experience. I am sincerely grateful for the opportunity to study in Austria, and I am convinced that this experience will become an important part of my personal and professional development.”
