The student team of the “Choreography” programme at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy – Dance Lab – has received support under the city’s Scholarship Programme for the implementation of projects in the field of culture for 2024–2028.

“Our project – the participation of the Dance Lab student choreography team on the World of Dance stage (Lviv) – was approved by the decision of the Expert Council under the Department of Education and Humanitarian Policy of Cherkasy City Council,” said Vadym Tkachenko, guarantor of the Educational Programme 024 “Choreography” and Associate Professor of the Department of Educational and Socio-Cultural Management and Social Work. “Out of 34 submitted initiatives, 22 projects were supported in 2026, and we are proud that our team was among the winners in the category ‘participation in a competition or festival’. For us, this is not just financial support – it represents trust in the professional level of our students, the work of the coaching team, and the systematic preparation of future choreographers.

Ahead is Lviv, the World of Dance stage, and the opportunity to represent Cherkasy and Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy with distinction at the all-Ukrainian level.”
