A delegation of lecturers from Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, comprising Oleksandr Spriahailo, Mykola Rudenko, Nataliia Zachosova, and Dariia Tinkova, took part in the Science Festival organised by the European University Alliance E³UDRES².

The event was held at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (ViA) in Latvia from October 13 to 17, 2025.

The Science Festival, which brought together over 200 participants – students, researchers, and entrepreneurs from across Europe and beyond – became a powerful platform for sharing knowledge, discussing ideas, and forging new collaborations.

Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy scholars actively participated in the Festival’s activities, joining the discussions and sectional meetings of the 5th International Scientific Conference and the 14th Student Scientific Conference, exchanging experience with colleagues from all over Europe. Professor Nataliia Zachosova represented Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy at the international level, while BKNUC representatives served on the jury of the student conference and poster presentations, which attests to the high professional reputation of our scientists. University representatives also participated in practical teamwork workshops at the E³UDRES² Stakeholder Forum, aimed at strengthening cooperation among universities, businesses, and communities.

In addition to their active participation in the events of the Science Festival, the lecturers also successfully completed a short-term international internship under the Erasmus+ KA171 academic mobility programme.

“Participation in such innovative events, combined with Erasmus+ internships, is extremely valuable for the development of BKNUC’s international cooperation and the integration of the university into the European educational space. The experience gained, new contacts, and knowledge will undoubtedly contribute to the improvement of scientific and educational activities at the university,” noted Oleksandr Spriahailo, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Innovation and International Activities.

Furthermore, on October 10, 2025, ViA hosted the opening of the exhibition “Unissued Diplomas”. The exhibition presents the stories of Ukrainian students, in particular, students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy who died during the russian invasion of Ukraine.

We congratulate our colleagues on their worthy representation of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy on the international stage!
