Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy (BKNUC) hosted a round-table discussion as part of Erasmus+ Days in Ukraine.

Dr Joe Yizhou Xu, Associate Professor in the Department of Communication and Theatre Arts at Old Dominion University’s College of Arts and Letters, delivered a lecture entitled “Disinformation and Misinformation” to academic staff and students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy (BKNUC).

As an associate partner of E³UDRES², Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy (BKNUC) has joined the exhibition “Unissued Diplomas – Unterbrochene Bildungswege in der Ukraine” (“Unissued Diplomas – Disrupted Educational Paths in Ukraine”), which opened on 22 September 2026 at Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Hochschule Fulda, Germany).

Can peace be built while the war is still ongoing? This was the central question addressed at the International Research and Practice Seminar held at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy (BKNUC) on 23 September.

International cooperation, investment, and partnership building were among the key topics discussed at the Carpathian Eight International Summit, which was attended by a delegation from the Cherkasy Region, led by Ihor Taburets, Head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration.

Representatives of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy (BKNUC) paid a working visit to Jamk University of Applied Sciences (Jyväskylä, Finland) from 29 August to 6 September 2026 as part of the Erasmus+ KA171 staff mobility programme.

For 1,700 first-year students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, the 2026–2027 academic year began with a symbolic digital launch on University Square. On 1 September, the university marked the start of its 106^th year and its fifth year amid Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Lesia Ovsiienko, Associate Professor at the Department of German Philology at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, completed a training programme at the Goethe-Institut in Dresden entitled “Sprache, Landeskunde und kulturelles Lernen”.
