The Department of Modern English Teaching Practices at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy continues to expand its international academic partnerships. Within the Erasmus+ programme, work has begun on a new academic mobility project. The project’s initiator and coordinator is Associate Professor Nataliia Slyvka, Head of the Department.
The department already has successful experience in cooperating with the University of Malaga: student Daryna Savirko participated in an academic mobility programme, where she highly praised the organisation of the educational process, the university’s support, and the favourable academic environment.
“It was the positive experience of student mobility that inspired me to expand international cooperation between our universities. The University of Malaga is one of the largest public universities in Spain, known for its innovative educational programmes, modern infrastructure, and active international engagement. The institution is a key participant in European scientific and educational projects and holds leading positions in international university rankings,” noted Nataliia Slyvka.
This is the second academic mobility project implemented by the department. The first was a joint project with the University of Valladolid (Spain), under which more than 20 grants were awarded to students and faculty members.
The implementation of the new project will contribute to the academic development of our university’s faculty and students, expand international ties, and enhance the quality of language education. We wish the team every success in implementing the project and look forward to new opportunities for academic mobility.
