As part of the course “International Organizations” and with the aim of communicating with future stakeholders, first-year students majoring in International Relations at the Educational-Scientific Institute of International Relations, History and Philosophy of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy had the opportunity to meet with Zhanna Hrytsenko, Program Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Coordinator, and Social Media and Communications Manager at the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine (Peace Corps Ukraine).
At the invitation of the Department of World History and International Relations, the representative of the international volunteer organization delivered a lecture in English to the students on April 15, 2026, on the topic: “The Activities of International Volunteer Organizations: Peace Corps Ukraine.” The lecture covered the history of the organization’s establishment and its key areas of activity, both globally and in Ukraine. Students also had the opportunity to communicate in English with a representative of the U.S. Peace Corps in Ukraine in an informal and engaging atmosphere.
The discussion focused on the prospects of joining international volunteer initiatives and pathways for professional growth in the field of volunteering. The meeting was organized by Associate Professor of the Department of World History and International Relations and lecturer of the course “International Organizations,” Anzhela Irzhavska.
