Anna Trokhymenko, a second-year Master’s student in the specialty 014 “Secondary Education” (Language and Literature (German, English)), took part in the International Academy for German Language Teachers “Creative Learning and Cultural Teaching on the Black Sea Coast”, which was held with the support of the Goethe-Institut in the city of Varna (Bulgaria) from August 25 to 29, 2025.

The program of the event was highly intensive and included training sessions aimed at developing students’ communicative competences: the use of music in class, rhythmic games, teamwork, country studies, and modern DLL teaching methodologies.

Over the course of five days, participants engaged in a variety of workshops and gained new knowledge. The event brought together teachers from many countries, serving not only as a platform for professional development, but also as a space for building new connections.

The Department of German Philology and Anna Trokhymenko express their gratitude to the Goethe-Institut in Ukraine for organizing the event and extending the invitation, and look forward to continued fruitful cooperation.
