Students of all levels of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Economics and Law at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy have successfully completed their studies within the framework of the international educational project Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module DEMEU4U “Digitization, Digital Education and Migration Processes: The EU Experience for Ukraine” (№101176312 – DEMEU4U – ERASMUS-JMO-2024-HEI-TCH-RSCH).

A retreat to prevent professional burnout at the workplace was held for the staff of Cherkasy Regional Hospital by Olha Kopchynska, Doctor of Philosophy in Psychological Sciences, psychotherapist, and Deputy Director of the Mental Health Research and Training Center at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, together with Olha Panchuk, practical psychologist, psychotherapist.

A large-scale sporting event for 1345 first-year students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy – the Olympic Lesson – took place at the Central Stadium in Cherkasy on September 5, 2025.

The celebrations on the occasion of Knowledge Day are memorable for every student. Despite martial law, young people continue to believe in the future and strive to obtain higher education.

The faculty of BKNUC continues to represent with dignity the university and the state at various international academic events. In particular, last week, Taras Romashchenko, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and International Economic Relations, delivered a report at the University of Neuchâtel (Neuchâtel, Switzerland).

Anna Trokhymenko, a second-year Master’s student in the specialty 014 “Secondary Education” (Language and Literature (German, English)), took part in the International Academy for German Language Teachers “Creative Learning and Cultural Teaching on the Black Sea Coast”, which was held with the support of the Goethe-Institut in the city of Varna (Bulgaria) from August 25 to 29, 2025.

The staff of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy participated in the 5^th All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Symposium “Inclusion in Barrier-Free Ukraine: Interbranch, Cross-Sectoral Cooperation, and Interdisciplinarity for Victory and Sustainable Development”.

On August 26, Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy hosted the opening of the educational and scientific laboratory for child and family mental health “FAMILY MIND LAB”.
