From April 21 to 25, Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy hosted STEM Week 2025, which is traditionally held as part of the nationwide Ukrainian festival «STEM Spring 2025».
According to the results of the recently published annual ranking of Ukrainian higher education institutions based on Scopus scientometric data, Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy has taken 21st place out of 221 higher education institutions in Ukraine.
On May 7, 2025, the Department of Preschool and Special Education at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy organised and held an international scientific and practical conference titled “Modern Preschool Education in the Context of Integration into the European Educational Space”.
In March-April 2025, the international cooperation between Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy and the E³UDRES² European University Alliance (The Engaged and Entrepreneurial European University as Driver for European Smart and Sustainable Regions) gained new momentum.
Within the framework of the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme, the lecturers of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, Halyna Lutsenko and Svitlana Koval, visited Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Valmiera (Latvia).
On April 23–24, Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy welcomed a distinguished guest, Doctor of Science, Professor at the University of Miami (Oxford, Ohio, the USA), Marcus Jobe.The visit of the renowned American scholar was a remarkable event for the university community and contributed to the expansion of BKNUC’s international ties.
Two teams from Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy took part in the first inter-institutional hackathon on industrial process automation – the Industrial Process Control Hackathon.
Karyna Shevchenko, a student majoring in “Tourism” at Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, became a participant of the international cultural and educational project “Imagining Ukraine: Past and Future”. The events are taking place in April 2025 at the University of Greenwich, London (Heritage Gallery, Queen Anne Court).
