Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy continues successful cooperation with the European University Alliance E³UDRES².

In 2023, BKNUC became an associate partner of the alliance at the invitation of the Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Valmiera, Latvia).

Thanks to the partnership, the university concluded an agreement on international academic mobility for students and staff within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ KA1 programme with the Polytechnic University of Timişoara, Romania (a member of E³UDRES²).

The signed agreement is designed for 3 years (2024–2027), during which higher education applicants and lecturers of BKNUC in the specialities “Translation”, “Management and Administration”, “Development and Analysis of Software and Applications” will be able to study or to intern at the University of Timişoara.

BKNUC students will have the opportunity to study for a semester at the university in Romania. All expenses of students during this period (scholarship and travel expenses) are fully covered by the Erasmus+KA1 programme. University lecturers and staff will be able to give lectures or undergo an internship for a period of 5 days to 2 months. All travel expenses are covered by the programme.

For reference, the Polytechnic University of Timişoara, Romania, has been in existence for over 100 years (1921) and is an institution that focuses on modern research and quality education, with about 15,000 students and 10 faculties. It is a classical university recognized at the national and international levels.
