Vice-Rector for Scientific, Innovation and International Activities Oleksandr Spriahailo and Head of the International Relations Office Svitlana Koval represented Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy at the E³UDRES² Autumn Summit 2025, held at the Polytechnic University of Setúbal (Portugal), as an associated partner.

During the summit, participants discussed the strategic development of the alliance at the Leadership Forum, exchanged ideas on the transformation of education and science at the E³UDRES² General Assembly, took part in workshops on open science, innovation, resilience, artificial intelligence, and professional development of educators, and sought and found points of intersection for future scientific collaboration.

The delegation also visited the local campus, scientific laboratories and centres for robotics, modern drone development, and advanced materials research, including materials made from recycled raw resources of invasive plant species.

“It was more than just an official event. These were days of lively communication, sincere conversations, and the feeling of being a part of a great European family, united by a common goal – to make education and science stronger, more modern, closer to people. What impressed me most was not only the program but also the atmosphere: the warm welcome, genuine smiles, and the sense of support and partnership. Such meetings inspire us to move forward and truly make Europe united – in education, science, and society. I sincerely thank our European partners from E³UDRES² for the wonderful hospitality and our Ukrainian friends for their solidarity, mutual support, and faith in our shared future,” noted Oleksandr Spriahailo.

As part of the summit, an exhibition titled “Unissued Diplomas” was held, featuring informational posters about the students of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy who lost their lives in the Russian-Ukrainian war.

This event provided an opportunity to exchange experiences and explore new avenues for cooperation in the fields of education, science, and innovation.
