This year, Dana Bilyk, a fourth-year student enrolled in the educational programme “Translation (Language major – English)” at the Educational-Scientific Institute of Foreign Languages of Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy, became a participant in the Erasmus+ international academic mobility programme.

For the past three weeks, the future translator has been studying at the Polytechnic University of Timişoara (Romania), pursuing subjects taught in English under her educational programme alongside students from various European countries.

According to Dana Bilyk, participation in the programme is a great opportunity to gain new knowledge, discover another culture, and experience European student life.

“What impresses me most is the open atmosphere: Romanian students and those studying under the Erasmus+ programme are friendly and sociable – everyone communicates, shares ideas, and helps one another. The lecturers support us all the time. Here, you feel like a part of a large European community,” Dana shares her impressions.

We sincerely thank the International Relations Office of our university for their assistance, advice, and coordination of the student’s participation in the Erasmus+ programme.
