On March 13-14, in the capital of Podkarpackie Voivodeship, the city of Rzeszów (Poland) the scheduled international Europe-Ukraine Forum was held.The 11th Forum this year went under a symbolic title of “Association with the European Union and What’s Next?».The Forum was visited by the Vice-Director of the Educational-Scientific Institute of Economics and Law Associate Professor of the Department of Economics and International Economic relations Taras Romashchenko.
The scientist from the Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy was one of the 600 participants in the event, who represented Ukraine, Poland, other EU countries, the USA, near and far foreign countries.Among them there were representatives of the governments, political and business elite, diplomatic institutions, the academia, local self-government bodies, EU institutions, leading international organizations and mass media.
Taras Romashchenko confirmed the high representation and organization level of the Forum:
– At such difficult times for the state such events for accelerated social-economic progress of Ukraine within its integration with the EU are important.The Forum participants with the highest level of expertise analysed the objective achievements of Ukraine after the signing of the European Union Association Agreement, pointed out the obvious advantages and disadvantages of such cooperation, and also attempted to place the right emphases for the future proactive development of the state that strives to become a full-fledged member of the European peoples family.
The forum worked for two days, during which its participants took part in two plenary sessions and over thirty panel discussions related to the economic, political and social issues of the current Ukraine development.Special attention was given to the presentation of the Ukrainian regions, some of the sectors of the economy and the Eastern Fair.
