Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy and the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal), Portugal, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that opens up new opportunities for international academic cooperation.
The agreement provides for the development of partnerships in the fields of education, science, and innovation, in particular joint participation in international programs, student and staff exchanges, the development of joint educational courses, as well as the implementation of scientific research and cultural initiatives.
The signing of the memorandum is the result of the active participation of BKNUC in the European University Alliance E³UDRES², of which the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal is also a partner.
“Cooperation with the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal opens up prospects for us to implement joint projects in the fields of digital technologies, business, education, and sustainable development. We plan to launch a number of initiatives, including COIL (Collaborative Online International Learning) formats, as well as the Erasmus+ academic mobility program (KA171),” said Svitlana Koval, Head of the International Relations Office.
As a reminder, since 2023 Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy has been an associated partner of the European University Alliance E³UDRES². Four inter-institutional agreements under the Erasmus+ academic mobility program (KA171) have been concluded with Politehnica University of Timișoara (Romania), Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia), Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Germany), and St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (Austria).
