In March-April 2025, the international cooperation between Bohdan Khmelnytsky National University of Cherkasy and the E³UDRES² European University Alliance (The Engaged and Entrepreneurial European University as Driver for European Smart and Sustainable Regions) gained new momentum.

On March 28, representatives of the International Relations Office participated in an online meeting of the alliance’s working group titled “WP6 Future University: discussing trends and imagining futures of higher education”, during which key challenges and opportunities facing European higher education in the context of global changes were discussed.

On April 25, another online meeting titled “Future University” took place, and on April 30, university staff joined the E³UDRES² webinar series, in particular, sessions on “Talent Funnel” and “European Degrees”, which explored the models for attracting and developing talented youth, as well as the prospects for implementing joint inter-university educational programs within the European Union.

An important event in March was the participation of Vice-Rector for Scientific, Innovation and International Activities Oleksandr Spriahailo and Head of the International Relations Office Svitlana Koval in the E³UDRES² General Assembly, which was held at Saxion University of Applied Sciences (Enschede, the Netherlands). Within the framework of the assembly, the directions for the alliance’s further development and the expansion of cooperation with associated partners were discussed.

In April, BKNUC lecturers completed a teaching internship at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia) within the framework of the Erasmus+ KA171 academic mobility programme. A competitive selection of students was also organized for participation in mobility programmes at three universities of the alliance with which BKNUC has inter-institutional cooperation agreements:

  • St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences (Austria),
  • Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences (Latvia),
  • Polytechnic University of Timişoara (Romania).

Cooperation with E³UDRES² opens up new horizons for the academic mobility, the implementation of innovative educational practices, and the integration of BKNUC into the European education space.
